The New York Red Bulls are an American professional soccer club which was based in the New York metropolitan area.It is found in 1995, it always participates in Major League Soccer.The team was originally known as the New Jersey Metro Stars through 1997. The best resultsof this team in MLS play was the MLS Cup final in 2008. In the US Open Cup, the MetroStars reached three semifinals in 1997, 1998, 2000 and before finally reaching their first final in 2003, losing 1-0 to the Chicago Fire. On August 26, 2000, the Metros' Clint Mathis make an MLS record by scoring five goals in a game against the Dallas Burn.Some famous and the best players that have played for the team were Roberto Donadoni, Lothar Matthäus, Adolfo Valencia, Youri Djorkaeff, Amado Guevara.
